The Foster-Ahumada decision was terrible.

Ahumada won the light heavyweight title and was robbed because he was not the home country fighter.

A pathetic and obvious example of crooked officiating.

That decision was a shyness for boxing; and the first of Griffith vs Fernandez, a scandal...

Lewis - Holyfield 1 is mine too. Holy was never in serious danger of getting KO'ed, but I would have given him two rounds TOPS.

i never saw the foster fight but he himself has said in numerous interviews that he lost that fight. i've seen scores of some journalists who scored the fight 13-2 for ahumada. ahumada never became champ either. it makes me sick.

Lewis-Holyfield I was bad but I wouldn't say it's the worst. Many of the rounds were dull with Lewis not landing much and Holyfield not doing anything except going forward. Especially considering it was scored a draw and not a Holyfield victory. I had it 8-4 Lennox

Some of the worst:

Burton-Augustus
Diamond-Huerta
Patterson-Maxim
Ali-Norton III (I can't understand those who say it was close)

Often overlooked, as a result of the more high-profile Whitaker-Chavez decision of '93. Good call, Banj. Whitaker won hands fucken down.

I just can't understand what those judges saw to score it for Ramirez. It's definitely the worst decision that I have seen although there's probably worse out there.

Martin,

Can you tell me more about the Jorge Fernandez-Emile Griffith fights?

I never saw those.

Jorge Fernandez was one of the greatest Argentinian fighters of all time; see his fabulous record in http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hu ... &cat=boxer

In his first fight against Emile Griffith, June 3, 1960, N.Y.C., the crowd believed Fernandez was with ampleness the winner, but when they know the decision, absolutely unjust (referee: Petey Della 4-5 [Griffith], judge: Jack Gordon 4-5 [Griffith], judge: Joe Agnello 6-4 [Fernandez]), the attendance exploded protesting, and during more than 15 minutes, throwed a lot of "projectiles" to the ring: chairs, bottles, tin cans, stones and others, until the police stopped the hullaballo, but the decision wasn't changed

Another worst decision:

Masasi Kudo vs Manuel Gonzalez
