Just spotted this on Sky Sports 1 tonight, unfortunately my sports tv budget's been spent on Setanta so i can't watch it.

I've just watched it. Nothing special its mainly a build up to his fight with Cotto. And I struggled to understand a word Paulie said. :D

He is a guido so its in his blood to wear popped collars, a blowout hair do and chin strap beard, unfortunately.

It was a good documentary.

I would like to see him in one meaningful fight before Hatton (Ndou rematch isn't meaninful) - I just want to see whether the Ngougdio performance is Malignaggi at his best and Ndou completely flattered him.

Funny moment in the doc is when he is talking with his mates and one of them comments on "how can Cotto be a fighter, he plucks is eyebrows" and Malignaggi says "well I do that".

Watchable but nothing to get too excited about.

Paulie is very fast and tough and will be a handful for anyone. Cotto dealt with him superbly whilst boxing within himself. There's world of difference between N'dou and Cotto. Malignaggi will often beat the N'Dou's, but never beat the Cotto's of this world (which is no disgrace).

I don't think Cotto did - aside from the atrocious start Cotto vs Malignaggi was a VERY close fight. Indeed Paulie might have won if the Cut didn't throw him off his game and he didn't suffer the early KD.

I was really dissapointed with Cotto that night, he fought like he had lead in his shoes.... but he was very weight drained and has since looked MUCH better at 147 lbs.

Cotto looks a much, much better fighter now he's not killing himself to make weight. Cotto at 147 is a very different opponent to Cotto at 140.

I got the impression that Cotto never put his foot down on the pedal too much that night but still dished out a sound beating to Paulie. Whereas Malignaggi fought his heart out to still come a clear second.
