I'm buying it just out of thoroughness. Ordered it this morning, in fact. It's a massive event, it will have a bearing on Hatton's future in promoting. The fight may not be appetising but technically it is important in other ways. Definitely, two ugly world title fights on the card, some decent domestic stuff, Moore having a tune up - it's good value if you watch boxing for the fighter-and-not-the-fight.

i think we all know it's a rip off and yes we're most of us interested anyway course we'd love to watch it but the 15 quid sticks in my throat a bit. I hope it backfires and sales are crap.
All Hattons Manchester fans will be up for paying it but most of them will be there anyway.....then there's the pubs which will cater for thousands more.
Having seen Hatton at the MEN it is surprising how the place suddenly fills out at the last minute , 10 fights go by that might only get witnessed by anything from 10 to a few hundred people.
That said it's about getting paid isn't it and hat's off to him , Ricky Hatton is par excellence when it comes to getting paid.
I won't be buying it cos as stated "gifts" shouldn't be paid for should they?? The fella is loaded already and even without PPV will profit handsomely any way, that team has chosen to charge many of the closest fans 15 quid to watch him on tele when they've done so in the past for free (apart from the Sky subs)......loads of punters who purchase this will be the same people that forked out 3 grand to go and boo the American national anthem and cheer for Rick.....giving him more support than the home guy in Mayweather's back yard. That's gotta count for something...and 20million quid better off in the bank he's now telling them to fork out another 15 quid each on top of the sky fees he makes a good living out of already....then calls it a gift. It stinks really IMO.

I am watching it, few friends round.

As I said, its free ( Subscribe to SkyTalk) and even then it cost me £0.20p for a phone call. Thats just about the right price.

Hatton is all about greed, hope he gets KTFO.

You know DG would never be out of pocket Re: Hatton.

Plus, all I did was plug in my phone lead into my SKY BOX and call them up and ask for the SKY TALK/HATTON fight deal.

As soon as I got the deal, unplugged the lead from the SKY BOX.

All free plus free weekend and evening call which will never use because of my mobile phone deal.

Sing it for the LAST time Amy Winehouse style!

Did DG pay for de Hatton fight? me say no,no,no!

not paying when I can dl it for free. I don't mind paying for a big important fight on occasion but, this isn't one. I don't give Lazcano much of a chance.

I cannot Believe this is PPV. I cannot Believe anyone would want to Buy it...

I mean.... there is a 99.999999999% Chance Hatton will win, probably by TKO. So what is the Point?

Giving back to the Fans?

Now I'm sitting here, an hour to the opening bell and my resolve is being tested. I've not missed a Hatton fight in years...

However I will remain strong, fornicate it, they are taking this piss with £15 for (as someone said) a 'confidence building' fight.

I enjoy watching Ricky fight but this is not on, even if this is cutting of my nose to spite my face I'm not going to do it....

It's so not a PPV show...disappointing undercard too...but unfortunately I am like a crack addict when it comes to boxing.

And £14.95 is still cheaper than a night in the pub......
