Why didn't they show the Jamie Moore fight?

Post by Horse »

Why didn't they show the Jamie Moore fight on the PPV last night?

How much would it have cost them to add another 30 minutes or so to the PPV to show his fight?

I was wondering the same thing. He has an entertaining style and at very least it would've been nice to have long highlights with a round or two missing. Instead, it is thre whole fight that was missing! The broadcast finished an hour early and though there were lots of fights on the card, I do feel a bit shortchanged.

I get the feeling if he was making a British title defence it would easily have been televised, but it's like, how many times can you fight guys like Facey, etc.

Will Channel M show Moore vs Herrere?

I also wonder why a replacement couldn't be found for Craig McEwan's opponent. Moore and McEwan in seperate fights would have made the show that extra bit better.

I don't know why they didn't show my fight, but not sure if they recorded it properly for tv, coz they rushed me on right before they went live and my mates said it didn't come on the big screens until the 3rd round, and even then it was just from one camera angle and not close up shots, so I reckon coz they were getting ready to go live they couldn't record it as they would have to show on tv. Shame coz it would have been good fight to watch. :TU:

Well done on your comeback, are you still in line for a shot at the Euro title?

Sounds like a good workout for Moore, better than just getting a blowout in a round.
Really hope he gets the Euro shot this year, deserves it.

Also what about Terry showing off his knowledge of biblical stories. :TU:

Alex Bunema would be the perfect fight for Jamie Moore next I think.

great idea. he's well rated in the world rankings, has that big win over Karmazin, and is thoroughly beatable.

I like the idea of Joel Julio as well. Julio has been matched tough, is barely getting by, has some impressive power, and has big trouble with southpaws.

Great fights to improve the world ranking while saving plenty for the title shot, IMO.

Cheers for the report Terry.

Karmazin was easily beating Bunema until he got hit by that wonder shot. I expect Jamie to fight this guy's ears off and win a very wide decision, providing he stays out of the way of that thunder shot, and let's be honest, that punch was a total fluke.

I think the European champion is much better than Bunema. If this fight happens it'll be fantastic. Whoever wins emerges as a genuine contender to Forrest.

I was a little cheesed off that Sky didn't show the English fights in full - they did imply the would. But then they did the same for the UK leg of Hatton vs Mayweather.

Anyone who can shoe-horn 'skewiff' into a report deserves applause.
