Casamayor couldn't fight any better; Corrales could

Regardless of the decision i just felt the commentary was misleading, that was my main gripe. I mean at one point Adam Smith said "Corrales is Boxing an amazing fight", was he?! He was doing well but maybe an overstatement perhaps? And McCrory said "He's dominating with that spear like jab", at no point did Corrales have a spear like jab. It was effective at keeping Casamayor off balance but nothing more than a paw at times, look at Casamayor's face for damage, he would have surely had some damage if Diego had been spearing home jabs and fighting an "Amazing" fight. That was all i was moaning about.

I thought it was a fantastic technical fight, which was extremely close and IMO could have gone either way. I thought both boxers fought superbly in a very controlled manor, but the commentary was biased towards Chico (probably as he had been interviewed by them on ringside, and they felt some allegiance towards him). There is definately unfinished business between the 2 of them and IMO warrants a rubber match.

Yep agree about the Sky commentary.
As usual, they tend to side with one fighter and generaly stick by him throughout, regardless of what happens in the ring ( short of a six knockdown massacre).
I didn't score it but was fairly sure Diego had it by the end.

I wasn't paying much attention to Adam Smith to be honest, he's only there as background noise, and in reading a fight is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

What the hell does the knockdown count for exactly, apart from an extra point? It was in round 10, so there were 9 rounds before that, and the judges didn't know Casamayor was gonna get a knockdown. So they were not gonna give him extra points in advance were they. It counts for nothing but one point.

Corrales boxed really well behind his jab, and the two judges who had it in his favour scored the fight just about right.

Try reading what you quote before trying to sound clever.

Would these guys beat Eric moralles or "el matador" both guys i am overly impressed with and could see them beating most people. But i am not shore about these guys both seem to me to be strong fighters and could probably punish people who slip up and "el matador" did that early on when lost that round 10-7 to moralles would he have been forgiven if that was Corrales or Casamayor in the other corner.
