Hatton's been amazing for British boxing. He's gone over the pond and done well, become a two-weight world champion and won numerous titles at 140lbs. He's also beaten champions in Kostya, Urango, Maussa and Collazo. And you can't say the same about some of our other 140lb'ers like Junior, because he picked up a vacant belt against a totally shot fighter, defended it against a gimp and had one good performance against Harris and then got beat by the first prime challenger he faced - he also got put down heavily. I think people should applaud Ricky but us English love to hate, and it's sad to see. It's actually borderline crazy.

To be honest I agree, Hatton may be a touch past his peak and not be as good as PBF(who is an all time great) but is still a top quality fighter who would beat most and is IMO still the top man at 10 stone

Well it wasn't for a real world title it was for the IBO who granted have a better raiting system but isn't where its at.
