porky, porky, porky, porky, porky, porky, porky, porky,

He is improving every fight. He seems to be focussed, fit and ready to prove himself on the world stage. His next stage must be international. Who is left in Australia?

Thats the best he's looked. He was clearly fitter last night, I think that's been an issue in the past. Mckay is very tough but Porky was a class above him. It's a shame Crazy Kim pulled out the way Porky fought last night.

Porky's next fight will be against Wayne Parker Jr at Docklands on an Amatruda/Michaels promotion 19 July. Tim Bell can be considered a remote possibility at best. It's not a fight that Team Bell are interested in.

At least he is fighting other Aussies... any chance Foley will get in line for a beating?

Foley would be doubtful. His team recently knocked back an offer to fight Micevic as they want to give their boy more time to mature into a well rounded pro. The right course to take IMO.

What about Baff or Walker?

Baff could only manage a draw with Mckay, but has some claims. Walker would be overmatched at this point. Why is Bell ducking? It's a good test for him. It's a fight that could happen quickly, keep Porky on a roll (so to speak).

Do they have anybody that big in Thailand? There are two active Thai light heavyweights but they are really fat middleweights.

As for Argentina, they have produced some really good middleweights (Carlos Monzon was the best middleweight I ever saw) and light heavyweights.

I here the ladyboys over there get pritty big, I belive there is even a ladyboy world champ in Thai boxing that stands close to 6ft tall.

I do hope Porky can get another chance at fighting Kim, I was really looking forward to it, After the lesson he learned from his fight with Hamden I was sure he would have boxed smarter Vs Crasy Kim.

The six inch stiletto heels and bouffant hairdos would probably help.

I once had two drug dealers with Laotian names in the dock, they were both about 6'4". Turned out they were born in New Zealand and their mother was a Maori.

RE: Crazy Kim. Hopefully the fight will come off later in the year. Porky is prepared to travel to Japan to make it happen.

Obviously you don't rate him. That's o.k, each to their own. I think it's good to see a local fighter progressing and think he's ready to test himself, but from your last statement, it looks like you think the current m.o. of the local fight game is o.k.

When porky stepped up he got beat (Nadar Hamdan), Not that its a bad thing for Porky it would have been a great learning curved and something he has bounce back from.
My point is Porky is not a great fighter, nore is he a good fighter, Hes still learning from my POV.
I dont think he is crap, I would like to see him take on a opponet like Kim just to see where he is at - and how far he has come after the Hamdan defeat.

Theres not much out there for him in way of Aus Opponets that you could call a "Step up" for porky to fight, Im no fan of porkys, but i would watch him fight Kim.
