South Africa's Lehlohonolo Ledwaba, the former IBF super-bantamweight champ, returns after 18 months out to face Manchester-based Mongolian Choi Tseveenpurev on Saturday in Copenhagen.
This is an interesting match. Choi is on an excellent winning run and is finding it hard to get work over here.
Ledwaba lost his IBF title to Manny Pacquiao.

Choi is a handful alright and have seen him at close quarters (sparring Michael Hunter). He has also been in with Michael Gomez recently and not being bullied. Deffo agree he is in the "who needs him" brigade.

he could definately upset the apple cart here, the south african has been very inactive, two fights in 3 years.
Choi disposed of John McKay, himself a decent fighter(yet smaller), ruthlessly last weekend.

Sounds like a good contest, is Choi elligable to fight for the British title.

If he has the upset then of course he deserves fights with the likes of Pickering and Hunter - Ledwaba was talked about as the saviour of the devision untill Pacquiao got to him in ruthless fashion.

The fight will actually be shown live on TV here as one of the main events, its placed between the Bredahl vs Naka fight and the Kessler vs Green fight. If Ledwaba wins he will probably get a contract from Team Palle.

Lehlohonolo Ledwaba won a close fight where there wasnt much action. They threw few punches and Lehlohonolo Ledwaba chased Choi for most of the fight. But Choi had Ledwaba hust in the 2nd round. Scores were 77-76, 77-75 and 76-76. I had it 77-76 for Ledwaba

Thanks, Freiheit. Will Ledwaba get offered a contract on this performance? I believe the Danes were having a look at him.
And how did Bredahl get on?

He didnt look that good, Im not sure that he will be offered a contact maybe a new tryout.
Bredahl looked really good in most of the fight. The toyed with Naka in the first 5 rounds, knocking him down with a short left hook in round 4. Bredahl used he superior speed and reflexes to beat Naka. Naka was the agressor the whole fight but except for round 6 he didnt land anything big on Bredahl. I scored the fight 119-109 for Bredahl, round 6 for Naka and round 9 even.
