At 63, it's Tame Jones

IT’S unusual to see Tom Jones in tight leather pants these days — because his son has BANNED him from wearing them.
Mark Jones — Tom’s manager — told the 63-year-old crooner: Dress your age even if you don’t act it.
He warned his dad that he was becoming a laughing stock.
It’s OFF with the leather pants — which once split while Tom was gyrating during a TV show.
OUT go those peep-show shirts exposing Tom’s hairy chest.
And it’s IN with sensible pants and more conventional shirts.
Tom has also been told NOT to pick up panties and bras when they are thrown to him on stage.
The Welsh star admitted Mark, 46, had ordered the makeover. Tom said: “He told me, ‘People aren’t taking you seriously any more. You’re becoming a caricature of yourself’.”
The star unveiled his new image on American TV. He said: “Music is changing and I’m changing with it. I didn’t know I was going to still be alive by 2004.
“You don’t think of things like that. I don’t want to be lost in the ’60s. I want to work with young producers. Some of them could be my grandkids.
“Time is my enemy and that’s what I’m dreading — when I can’t do what I’m doing.”
