Danny Williams weighs in at.....
267lbs, for his fight with Konstantin Airich.
So thats a 12lb increase since his last fight 5 weeks ago.
Anyone seen Airich box? looks like he can bang at a lower level, but hasn't faced anyone near Williams class.

Thet could have a weekly weigh in before the lottery and every one could buy a ticket.
There must be 75 numbers available.

So that's just over 19 stone right?
It's a shame really. If he got himself into good shape. He would have a good chance against some of the lesser heavyweight champions.

He's a waster. Fat b*stard. Had some skill, obviously been very hit and miss but he's not the tallest and to carry that much weight - trying to hide it in ridiculously large shorts - is a disgrace. 19 stone???? Would love to see Haye in with him, showing him what speed would do... he'd seriously hurt Williams

I like Danny, just think he always needed a bit more self belief.
Re: Danny Williams weighs in at.....
It's Pretty Obvious Since his Bout With Tyson, he No Longer Has it in Him. He does not Come across the guy With Burning Desire to become No. 1.
He Beat Tyson, and his obviously Happy.
Its a Shame, Because Danny is one of the Few People that Can Cause Major Upsets if he actually Trains and Turns up for the Fight.

its dissrespectful when you've been payed by the public to perform and come in in that shape he should be ashamed of himself.

Yeah, I saw his fight against Turhan Altunkaya (undercard of Herbie Hide’s stoppage win over Mikhail Nasyrov) before Christmas. Tell the truth, I didn’t really think too much off him. He didn’t look too powerful, slapping with his punches a lot, and looked like he could lose a bit of flab from his stomach.Old bones Ian wrote:267lbs, for his fight with Konstantin Airich.

I’d expect a 75 per cent Danny Williams to beat him.

He never recovered from the Samil Sam loss did he..... he actually believes he is better as a fat boy - I don't think he is all that lazy, just a bit clueless when it comes to what weight he performs best at. Remember his interview after the Gammer fight - he thought he wasn't very good... despite Ed Robinson (I think) trying to convince him he was... and even then Danny said well it wasn't cause he was light.
I just don't think he has the faith in his punch resistance when at a low weight.

Why Do You Write Every Sentence Like It's A Song Name? It's Pretty Obvious Since his Bout With Tyson, he No Longer Has it in Him. He does not Come across the guy With Burning Desire to become No. 1.

Is Spencer Fearon training him or just his Manager?

"I want to be around 18st 13lbs for all my fights now," said Williams.
I kid you not.

Re: Danny Williams weighs in at.....
Yes, but Danny weighed 228lbs for his fight with Scott Gammer & that was of March 2007. Not even fourteen months ago. WTF does he do when he hasn't go a fight scheduled? Fcuking sit down all day just eating, eating & eating?Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:"I want to be around 18st 13lbs for all my fights now," said Williams.

Williams has talent, but clearly, letting his weight go like he has, is outweighing the talent & skills he has.
Re: Danny Williams weighs in at.....
He is now being trained by David Pereira, a former Fitzroy Lodge amateur who had to give up boxing ages 23 due to a detached retina.Emerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote:Is Spencer Fearon training him or just his Manager?
That is from todays South London Press, there's an article saying Williams has been training hard for the fight. The usual prefight bullshit basically then he turns up like Mr Blobby again!
