Obviously, Duran is past it & out of shape, but like all great champs, you can see that he still has the skills to a certain degree.
Benn must have felt privileged to share a ring with such a great fighter!

Duran stopped in at my gym when he fought Jeff Lanas here in Chicago in 88.
He was with former belt holder Juan Nazario.
They sparred a few times over a week or so.
Roberto had less pop than he did in this video with Nigel.
Nazario just kinda boxed circles around him.
Duran looked bad against Lanas a week or two later when he fought.
It really looked like he didnt have much left .In the gym or in the fight.
But then he turned around a short time later and pounded lumps on Iran Barkely to win the middleweight belt.
Tough to figure Duran sometimes.
