Hide scaled bang on 16st for his fight with the gritty Mendauga Kulikauskas, who weighed 16st 10lbs.
As we know, the scales were a bit dodgy, but that's a good weight for Herbie.
Good weight for Hide...

As much maligned as Hide is and has been over the years he has always been meticulous on the scales and is never overweight or out of condition, it's just a shame his chin was better conditioned! The way he stalks his opponents in that hind legged way he reminds me of those dinosaurs in Jurassic Park chasing those kids around the kitchen
Herbie the monster.

am i the only one who thinks herbie is well past it?
he looks so crude and slow these days. he was sharper and more nimble when he was coming up, 1989-1999. his comeback has been piss poor.
what an awesome corner though- eddie mustafa muhammad and mike mccallum!!!!
jeez!!!
shame they cant fight for him.

You're quite right, this could be a tricky fight, but I feel Hide will have the speed to bust the Lithuanian up and eventually take him out. By the way, did anyone read the Sun's boxing section today? They still have Hide's opponent down as Brazilian Rogerio Lobo. Heads won't roll, but they should.DOG wrote:16 stones!!![]()
he must have ditched his kitchen utensils before he jumped on the scales.
I will be in the minority but I have a gut feeling that this could be a tricky nights work for Hide 8)

Yeah I agree with you Hitman, also the Klitscko fight would done further damage too, although last night was a bad night not to mention a bad cut, the manner in which Hide lost, he must feel hard done to.
All he needs is that kick start to his career, he was lined up against Williams April 23rd but with the cut like that , the fight must be posponed possibly cancelled all together.
I would have fancied Hide against Williams, perhaps sprott or skelton then a final domestic show down with A Force, oh sorry Julias Francis, I left him out, just as well really, after his last performance.
Just where is the British Heavyweight division going ?
