Michael Sprott will defend his British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles against Matt Skelton on April 24 at the Rivermead Sports Centre in Reading.

I'm glad this fight has been made as it is a logical fight for both fighters, however I hope it's a better fight than Skelton V Francis was.

I think it should be as I imagine that Sprott is more ambition than Francis is at this moment in time.

Despite home advantage i still side with Skelts here, he has the better power and seems to be an all round better fighter with more in his locker than Sprott. All credit to Sprott for bouncing back after a dodgy patch in his career with a streak culminating with a win over Williams but an albeit questionable one at that. Skelton however has the more artillery and i see Sprott struggling with his intense attacks, Skelton on points.
