Kickett's record - http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hu ... &cat=boxer
St. Clair's record - http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hu ... &cat=boxer
There seems to be enough interest in this to have a poll. Lets vote.

Sorry about the title of the thread, I had 'Will' on the brain.
I voted Kickett, although I think it will be close.

Re: Who will win.....
iv put too close to put a slab on it but iv made it known i want kickett to win
Re: Who will win.....
Probably Kickett. St Clair is getting on a bit.
Re: Who will win.....
St Clair has given so much to Aussie boxing, I can't believe everyone is willing to give up on him for a 10 fight prospect...
Re: Who will win.....
Thanks for the fix Marlin. I don't think everyone has jumped off Gairy. It's just everyone is so excited about Cool Willie. It might be misplaced excitment, but we will soon see. Gairy is technically a great fighter but there is just something about exciting homegrown talent. Also it's great to see a 10 fight prospect put his proverbials on the line so early. It's what just about everyone asks for on this forum. He's not padding his record with scrubs. He is going to test himself knowing the chances are actually stacked against him. It's the sort of thing that gives the sport a lift.

Gairy still has too much experience and still has Johnny in his corner, this is a proven combination at the top level.
Re: Who will win.....
best thing is i dont think Kickett gives a toss(relatively speaking)if he does lose.By taking the fight he strongly suggests to me that he wants a test and the wealth of experience he will gain from this fight.Based on this fact i reckon i will always support him AND his management for takin the plunge. Very rare in modern boxing.Obviously they have much faith in his abitlity(fair enough to) and perhaps the lack of power St Clair has may be part of the decision BUT........good to see.

Re: Who will win.....
I am still going to support the veteran who has given so much service to Australian boxing, he does not deserve such lack of support simply because he is fighting a young prospect.
