The cut was shocking, but that cutman appeared just as bad.
Who the hell was he?

im sorry matchfixer but your statement is factually wrong. the nile at its delta basin is 190 km (120 mi) wide. Now this is substantially wider that the cut hide sustained. i mean i know hide does have a very high looking forehead but to claim its over 120 miles wide is just crazy talk mate..

i think what happened here matchfixer was the fact you picked on the nile.

if youd used another river such as the amazon or the mississippi or even my local river, the river forth then you might have got away with it. but the nile is a different kettle of fish, or river of fish if you please. its the undoubted daddy of the worlds waterways.

And I suppose Ali was incorrect when he said he floated like a butterfly because I doubt he really can float (except in water which doesn't count)

As for stinging like a bee I guess he doesn't actually inject a venom into the skin when he punches!

im not sure i would actually agree that in the strictest sense of the the word a butterfly floats either. it more flies eratically on the breeze hence its name i suppose. but lets not get bogged down in somanitcs eh?
