He quit after 3 rounds against Murray complaining of a rib injury and to be honest he didn't seem right from the start . Considering he had only fought the week before I suspect he may have gone into the fight injured just wanting the payday .

He won't pose much trouble for Fagan , at least he shouldn't .

Not for one second am i blaming Fagan for this poor poor opponent but I wish Peters would get his finger out and find a more appropriate test to challenge Fagan, than Leonard "I shit out on my stool after three rounds" Lothian.

Surely for the overall fight card this deserves to be a better opponent.

If Peters put proper attention to Fagans fight, I'm sure a Fagan - Murray fight could potentially headline or be a really strong undercard to a Dunne/Lee fight.

In short I believe Fagan deserves better and Peter should put on a better fight for the overall card...........

Thats it Sligo, got to get the profile raised in Ireland again before putting on a big fight like Murray.

Fagan will have a decent following that remember him from before he went to the states, but it won't take to long to have a great fan base, look at how quickly Perez managed to generate some decent crowd pulling capacity.

I just think Fagan should have a better opponent, thats all, but within saying that he does deserve a relatively easy coming back to Ireland fight, at least Leonard wont make him look bad!

I just hope Fagan really impresses, which will set up with the Murray fight, however before I get too carried away I hope to god Murray does a good job on McDonagh.

On July 12th I want Fagan to get an early KO, Murray an early KO, than let the best man win later in the year, with both getting a good purse that they derserve. Cant say fairer than that.....

To be honest, I won't take anyone lightly. I haven't the amateur exp to get too cocky, no matter whether the fella has a good record or a shite one. I still have no trainer and haven't sparred in 3 weeks since I'm only after getting home last week. I'm still jet-lagged to bits. I'd fight anyone but I haven't had the best prep for this one at all to be honest. Most of the good trainers in Ireland are up north and I have no car in Dublin at the mo. So, I just hope I can beat who's infront of me- whoever that is!

Oisin today traveled up to Breens with Jim Rock aka The Pink Panther. Oisin will training in breens until next the fight then return to Dublin for the weigh ins etc on Thursday.

Have to say I've been chattin to Oisin over the last few weekss and he is a spot on guy, I hope to travel over to Breens to meet up with him before he returns to Dublin and possibly drive him back to Dublin, work commitments permiting.

Jesus its going to be a big month for the Breen stable, with yourself and Rock fighting on the 12th. With the relly big one Rogie against Harrison, (which i will put my neck on the line in the case of offending someone!!) and hope Rogan kills Harrison. Coining a Kevin Keegan phrase I would love it... love it if Rogan won.. love it! Prizefighter was worth watching along cause of Rogan's humour.

Yea i dont know him , but have seen his fights and he seems to have a great heart and is a good boxer too. Hope he wins his fight and then there may be a murray v fagan but who knows. Love to see that one .Yeh and what do you mean "too Irish"?

Rogies training is going very well from what I have been told, I haven't seen Rogie in a good few weeks now but word from Breen's travels round the gyms/trainers. Rogie has really got stuck into his training since Prizefighter and hasn't slacked off at all. (they way some fighters like a break between fights) Rogie should be in tip top condition for this bout and really has the will to win.

Remember this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Rogie, he HAS to grab it with both hands.

Because you want Murray to 'do a good job' on McDonagh I think your letting emotion get in the way when you even remotely think that Murray will win by early KO! . McDonagh has never been on the floor and he's mixed in good class and with decent punchers. I think that McDonagh also deserves a good purse after the efforts he's put into the sport, he was totally robbed againts David Burke, had very close fights go the other way when easily could have gone his. He had his win degraded againts Gomez because Gomez knew he wasn't going to win so turned his back having everybody calling it a fix, well Id have thought if your going to fix or throw a fight you'd get out of there in 1st or 2nd round, even retire on stall, was plain to me to see that Gomez was putting every effort into his shots againts McDonagh but had no effect. Im just saying 03mcgs0 I wouldn't put a bet on McDonagh losing on an early KO because Im sure you'd lose your money thats all

"Gomez knew he wasn't going to win" - on what basis have you come the that conclusion? IMO Gomez hadnt lost a round up to that point.

I dont begrudge McDonagh his pay day but I really dont rate him at all. If we strip out the Gomez fight he has lost 7 of his last 11 fights and of those 4 wins his opponants all have negative records and had a combined record of 26-196 and only one of them had won one fight in their last six contests.
