Yeah there was a lot of fans who were there supporting them. They had 'team welsh' t-shirts on and banners which made me think 'Now Kells a champ its time his fans had banners and t-shirts. I wish I'd had took a banner for kell now. :(

What is it with young British fighters that haven't proven themselves on any stage showboating like they're something special?! Without naming names, I can think of at least 4 right now.

I like that one.

When I first saw these guys name ut on the O2 card I thought to myself - maybe these guys are a nice family of down to earth Matthew Maklinesque second generation Irish guys and that the whole family thing would be a great gimmick and attract a lot of publicity.

Then to my horror I saw them and "their crew" - what a bunch of scumbags - its looked like an NF rally from the 1970's. The sooner these guys get pumped and the dross that follows them disappears the better.

Mitchells girlfriend was just loud and annoying whereas these clowns and their inbred fans are just a bunch of loudmouth racist hooligans.

I know who i'd be happier sitting next to at a fight.

As soon as he steps up he'll be flattened. Don't see him stepping up for a good while though, he looked wide open and was being outboxed by the other fella, who seemed to have had enough of the whole scene when he quit as opposed to anything Walsh had put forward.

On the bright side, after seeing what he had to offer last night, there's now a lout on the scene who I can look forward to see getting the shit knocked out of at some future date. That'll be worth watching.
Amen to that

I know that Mitchell's sister reads boxing forums, so someone was always likely to defend them. I doubt some of the Walsh boys/fans would even know where to plug a PC in....

I don't begrudge anyone a living, but the sooner them and their fans are out of the sport, the better.

It was on their pro debut at the ExCel in Feb this year on the undercard of Khan-St Clair.

Remember the fights, and the interviews afterwards (all 3 of them together) now, dont recall the chanting, although it might not've come across on tv?!

You probably all saw the interview with them afterwards, they're just chavs. They'll get found out, they won't even make British level. If they do they'll get spanked.

You find it hard to want them do succeed because they are a trio of cnuts. They're like an East 17 tribute band, minus the quiet one....

Surely we must have a poster on here which has some good things to say about them, are they really that bad!
What about their amateur experience?

One of them as an ABA champion - here is an interview plus
footage of their monosyballic fans.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7N7ObURUbdU

Sections are claiming they didn't make monkey chants but were
actually singing 'who let the Walshes out' (to who let the dogs out)

'Oooh let the dargs out - and the chickens, sheep, poigs from der farm arrrrrrr'

Yokel twats!

to be fair to Gypsies you dont usually get them like that. Not sure if they are romany or what but they have Irish names so I assume they could be "Irish travellers" - but like I say Irish traveller stock arnt usually tattooed flag waving types.

Their whole personna is "arrogant r-soles" - On the O2 fight Ryan Walsh (or maybe Liam) fought Robin Deakin, who by all accounts is a nice guy. Walsh was "eyeing him up" at the start, geenerally acting the twat- Robin Deakin wasn't rising to it- he even kissed him at the start of round 4!

It could be an issue though for other boxers- one of the most basic unwritten rules of the sport is that fighters show each other respect when in the ring.

I was really surprised at Tony Doherty's antics after the main event.
