It was close, I thought Chisora. was leading by 1.... Woodhall thought Sexton was leading by 1.

It was one of those fights which was quite difficult to score.... good contest, I was impressed with Chisora early (nice headmovement) - then it seemed to stop and Sexton was landing some nice shots.

I had Chisora ahead by one and all.I thought Sexton tired and then looked rocked by one right hand before getting trapped on the ropes. It was a good strategy that Chisora employed as the rounds went on where he bobbed and weaved before coming back with big shots.

I picked Chisora beforehand to win a narrow one as i thought had the greater natual ability, while Sexton was a bit of a plodder. Sexton surprised me early on with a decent left jab and left hook, but he badly tired as the fight went on and was knackered by the fourth round. Chisora too needs to work on his conditioning if he is to progress. That might be the main thing to let him down, as he seems talented and his dig might improve.

It's funny how time changes things in a boxing ring. I am referring to John Rawling's interpretation of the Sexton-Simpkin fight, when Rawling commented that after Sexton had been knocked down early he, "came back well and did a number on Simpkin."

Not quite what i remember. Sexton was struggling with Simpkin and the fight was very much in the balance when an injury (cut eye or damaged ear, i forget which) ended the bout prematurely in the Norfolk man's favour.

Chisora is carrying too much weight 18 1/2 stone apparently - for a guy about 6 foot 1. Too fat.

Always thought that.
I remember seeing him in the amatuers a couple of years back and he looked a little heavy then.

Seems to have got even heavier since he has turned over.

Always liked Chisora since he turnt pro, was very glad to see him win, hopefully he'll get a british title shot in a fight or twos time, as they kept saying on sky, there's no point wasting time on bums.
