Roberto Duran vs Esteban De Jesus I because it’s the fight that made me a boxing fan.
Wilfredo Benitez vs Antonio Cervantes. I was a kid but I enjoy every minute of that fight.
Wilfredo Benitez vs Roberto Duran because I was a huge fan of both fighters.

Duran vs DeJesus II.....Sweet revenge by "Manos de Piedra"
Duran vs Davey Moore....It was an unforgettable and magical night for me and all Duran's fans
Holyfield vs Tyson I.....Holyfield was a 25 to 1 underdog, with rumours of a bad heart condition, was seemingly washed up, and gave the performance of his life. "Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy" :TU: :TU: :TU:

I was tempted to put Rosario vs Bramble because I remember just before the fight most of my friends were telling me that Rosario was going to lose big. I think I was the only one believing in Rosario. Good choice :TU:

Kid Gavilan vs. Gil Turner - Gavilan's finest hour.

Dick Tiger vs. Joey Giardello IV - Tiger gets his long awaited revenge.

Tony Lopez vs. JJ Molina III - One of the most dramatic comeback performances ever IMO.

Chavez Taylor I

i was sooo annoyed at the pro-Taylor favoritism before and during the fight. The way they were calling the fight you would have thought the swelling around Taylors head must be being caused by Duva in the corner. Lets just say, I was a bit more than pleased by the outcome.

Jackson Castro

Perhaps the biggest "HOLY SHIT!!" moment I've ever had watching a fight. Was lulling me to sleep at first, then I furious at the ref for not saving Castro already, then...BOOM!

Foreman Lyle

watching it as a kid made me fall in love with the sport. I've converted more people into boxing fans by playing them the tape. Still my favorite fight of all time.

I agree, it may have been the single most shocking ending to a fight I've ever seen.

In reality, that fight should've already been stopped. But luckily for us fans, the ref was a sadist. :D

Holyfield vs Bowe I

Holyfield vs Tyson II

Foreman vs Lyle (no slick boxing, just to guys that could punch, doing just that)

Those are my top heavyweight fights. I have some at the lighter weights that I loved too, but the big boys always seem to get the spotlight.

Thanks!

I was (even though he was a bit overated) a huge Mancini fan. When Bramble pummeled him not just once, but twice, I was saddened. But I was also impressed by Bramble's skill set and tenacious abiltiy.

At the time I was under the impression that Rosario was more of a techincal fighter, and thought Livingstone was going to jump on him at the onset. When the opposite happened, I was in shock.

RIP, Edwin.

number 3-NOW DONT LAUGH but Terry Norris vs Troy Waters. Why ?the look on one of the guys face in the crowd when Waters dropped him in the 2nd(which was an AWESOME round).think the chap was a Norris fan and was just one of those boxing moments i will never forget-when the BIG upset is on the cards right out of nowhere(and considering Waters was getting pummeled).

In terms of historical significance, and because it also turned out to be a great fight, I'd put Ali-Frazier I at the top of my list. It was the fight of my generation.
I'd follow that with Foreman-Lyle and Ali-Frazier III

But the best pair of fights I ever saw took place in Oklahoma City between little-known Tony Gardner and Ray Christian in Oklahoma City in 1974, with Gardner winning both in the last round by a KO. I had the pleasure of being in Gardner's corner for both fights. The best fights aren't always between famous fighters. I'll never forget the way those two went after one another as long as I live.

So true.

Gatti-Ward I was on my list. I never heard of either of them going into the fight. [gimme a break I was 13] I was flipping channels and I came across the fight and they beating the crap out of each other.

I can't bring myself to watch that fight in its entirety...I rather have a colonoscopy...I had the misfortune of watching Cammacho-Leonard and almost cried...To see someone you revered almost helpless...

I saw Ali-Holmes on closed circuit in an arena with about 6,000 people. When the fight was over everyone just quietly got up and left the building. It was like attending a funeral.
