The ever consistent Shakermaker finally pounced and took the lead from me....although its still close!!

Any of the top 3-5 could nick this though so still worth trying your best!

Goodluck to everyone on the final week of the season sorry if I have made the odd mistake and ot always got the thread up on the dot but my weekends are usually busy and dont get round to it untill the Monday-Tuesday.

Hope you have all enjoyed it from both BA and Boxrec and will participate again next season...There will be a few changes to the rules and scoring which I will advise when the time comes.

any suggestions are welcome.

Yes, Rob has done a great job with the league and has shown his own boxing knowledge in full. I'm sure we all echo knockout artist's words.

One suggestion for the next one - perhaps we can have two types of league, the prediction league as it (with the round prediction and the scoring system) and also a league which only looks at whether you got the prediction right or wrong (irrespective of rounds) - with a simple record like 16-4 etc. If the fight is a no decision or a draw then the results are void.

It would be interesting.

Yeah well done Rob. How about next time no penalty points for getting it wrong....that just about killed me off :D

I coulda been a contender........

If enough people are interested I will look into doing that as well mate although I will be simplifying this one so that people are not penalised for wrong predictions they just get 0 points and a few other little changes.

I may just tone down the penalty for mis predictions then as that was the initial reason I had them so people wouldnt just guess....keep the ideas and thoughts coming if you have them.
