Interesting, I'll have to check your books out. I did a dozen or so years at unilever as well (and survived the experience) before moving onto pastures new.

Interesting because I enjoy reading about people who are successful and to see how they got to the top of their respective fields.

Thanks Jim. I thought it may be of interest for a few reasons.

One, I got to interview Angelo Dundee and Muhammad Ali for the books and given that this is a boxing forum, I thought it may be of relevance or interest to some of you.

Secondly, the proceeds from the books go towards the Collyhurst and Moston Lads Club and ensuring that it continues to remain open and available to those kids in the local community.

As Jim said, it either interest you or it doesn't. Thanks for your question 'Arnie' , although I don't imagine that it holds much interest to you and so please don't worry your brain about it.

Quite honestly I think its a very valid post. Not everything on here is strictly boxing but there are things we can learn from people who post on here and thats good. Dicipline is vital for all of us to learn and it makes us self diciplined adult people ultimately which is a major quality of leadership. You cant teach unless you listen, learn and take good advice from those who have the experiance of life. You can apply this to boxing, football virtually anything. So many young people have talent and skills but without an understanding of dicipline they wont go far. Self dicipline, motivation and a huge will to win at any sport brings out the best in any sportsperson/athlete. Another important point is the coach must be in charge and you have to have faith in his abilities.
