Limond was a very sharp, accurate puncher. He'd actually dropped a tough African about three times in his previosu bout. I think Willie was poised to give Graham Earl a severe. drawn out beating, until that fight was called off.
Gomez won't have that kind of accuracy or timing. OK he has heavy hands but I see him as being far too slow at this stage. Prime Gomez would have had a chance, but even then it would be a natural super feather vs a kid who looks like a welterweight in there.

It's unlikey but I reckon he has a slight chance - I know Gomez's hooks are too wide and slow but St. Clair and Kristjansen found Khan a few times and they were slow coaches, but the one thing they didn't have over Gomez is a bigger punch. Gomez's only chance for me, is very early.
