TEAM GOMEZ RESPOND TO KHANS OUTBURST

TEAM GOMEZ RESPOND TO KHANS OUTBURST

Amir Khans recent pathetic outbursts highlights why the man has gone from a national hero to one the nation want to see beat - Khan was the only boxer booed at the recent Hatton mega event and the way he continues to open his mouth before engaging the brain has turned the public against him , why call Gomez an idiot for taking the advice of his health adviser.
Michael was to make the hastily rearranged Press conference on Wednesday but his nutritionist Kevin Maree advised that he stick to his programme of a late training session on the Tuesday evening with a good rest Wednesday morning followed by his last massage. As the camp for this fight had gone perfect Michael decided that he should not change the schedule which had the press conference booked in for the Thursday .For those not aware ,this was only changed for Michael on the Wednesday afternoon and it would have meant 3 hours in a car travelling to Birmingham when he should have been in bed – surely it was not a fair and reasonable request to do this.
As for Michael Gomez being scared , this is laughable as we all know that he is not scared of anything. Maybe it is the other way round as all through this camp we have had requests to keep Michael low key and indeed our request for Reyes gloves was flatly turned down .Michael will be there on Saturday and let’s see if Amir Khan is brave enough to stand and have a fight , if he does then we may get the outcome the public want which is a horizontal Amir Khan.

When the weigh in stegsie? Today presumably... it'd take an idiot to think Mike is scared, as will probably be proven at the weigh in when he tries to stick the head on khan or something equally as gomez.

"as all through this camp we have had requests to keep Michael low key" - fornicate that, time to let him off the leash.

Why have such requests been listened to?
Surely part of Gomez's tactic would get under Khan's skin and intimidate him?

Complete pussy management not letting Gomez have Reyes Gloves, why dont they just make Gomez wear a 'Timmy Mallet' hammer on his hands and let Amir wear his amateur head protection to make sure nothing could hurt captain cotton wool

Well yes if Michael doesn't mind, that would be great thanks :D

Excellent article on Amir over at Espn by the way, by our own Glyn Leech. Amir comes over a hell of a lot better than in his SN quotes, that's for sure.

Agreed, and im right in thinking fighters must wear the same gloves(?) If so are there many instances where two fighters are contracted to wear a brand?

I agree, he is a top lad from my experience, I can't understand the hatred. He's never that bad in his post-fight interviews either.

My understanding was that he wore Grant Gloves with a Reebock logo on one time.

Gomez has always been a wind-up merchant and Khan needs little baiting to start his rhyming either. All the "bad feeling", Pacquiao and Diaz callouts and Oliver Harrison is helping to hype up this mismatch.

I forgot about that, surely they could put a Reebok logo on top though. If it wasnt for advertising I doubt Gomez would be allowed to use Reyes anyway and if they could get away with the giant celebrity boxing gloves they would.
