Mark Krence At CRUISER
Smart move really
Mark just couldnt reach the top at HW. Hes a classy boxer with a big heart...just didnt have the kind of fire power to really trouble any of the behemoths
i can see a british title win for Mark at cruiser

Re: Mark Krence At CRUISER
Yeah, Steeds vs Krence is a natural really.
Has anyone done the Cruiser/Heavyweight domestic title double? Krence could do it if McDermmott upsets Danny.

Re: Mark Krence At CRUISER
I think it might have come a little late for him but I think he should have been at cruzer a long time ago!
Re: Mark Krence At CRUISER
No what I meant if McD beats Danny I think Krence would stand a decent chance at beating McD for the British.funso banjo baby wrote:u mean the english title ? definately

Re: Mark Krence At CRUISER
Steeds has to beat Norton first though , which is far from a guarentee .stujones wrote:Yeah, Steeds vs Krence is a natural really.

Re: Mark Krence At CRUISER
i think steeds has a great chance to beat norton after his last fight and the best fight out there for him would be krench i think there could be some good match-ups early next yearBigEars wrote:Steeds has to beat Norton first though , which is far from a guarentee .stujones wrote:Yeah, Steeds vs Krence is a natural really.

Re: Mark Krence At CRUISER
Steeds has improved but he won’t beat Norton. If he comes charging in like he has been doing then he will get picked off by the southpaw counterpuncher (and you wonder why Rob has been avoided). Rob said he doesn’t care where they fight because he’ll do a job on him. I mean, Steeds has a good chin but was dropped by John Anthony, who doesn’t hit as hard or as frequently as Rob.
Re: Mark Krence At CRUISER
i dont know john anthony can punch i know he aint as technically as good as norton but ive seen micky take flush shots off big fellas (circus tavern days) and come back to win also danny williams has been on the receiving end of some sparring so i dont think nortons power would worry steeds to much but norton is in need of respect but is getting on now and micky has been busy this year for him ????Podmore_Birmingham wrote:Steeds has improved but he won’t beat Norton. Krence is my boy at cruiser
Re: Mark Krence At CRUISER
id like to agree but micky sparked krench at the peacock gym 5 years ago when krench was there sparring julius francies and micky was getting ready for an un-licence fight at the circus tavern but times change and i think it would be a cracking fight now ????funso banjo baby wrote:Krence is my boy at cruiser

Re: Mark Krence At CRUISER
all the gym talk is just that talk
get in the ring for prizes
anyway Krence's first cruiser win was useless thing with paul bonson...i think they prob fought at heavy
but id love to see krence versus steed...norton..eastwood..hobson (is he retired)

Re: Mark Krence At CRUISER
14st4 or 200 lbs is the cruiser limit, he may well make 14st10 but his weight is still 6lbs over, thats nearly 3 bags of sugar, not easy to shift !!!
Re: Mark Krence At CRUISER
Cruiserweight is where David Dolan should be. I was really impressed with him in the Prizefighter tournament. Dolan could do really well domestically. I'm not sure about beyond that. I need to see more of him.

Re: Mark Krence At CRUISER
I'm not sure Mark is back in the game for the right reasons.
He'd walked away but came back cos the money seemed right and he needed it. Not sure if that's the correct motivation.
Hobson has retired and Keeton (who could turn out to be the spoiler in this division) is way over weight right now.
It's open for me, but over the years this has been a poor weight to Promote domestically.
I last watched Steeds at York Hall in April and whilst he won, I was far from impressed.
Norton is the best of the bunch for me - excluding Maccaroni but I can't see him being remotely interested at domestic level.
