Question about p4p top 5

Post by Grimm »

This list can constantly be changed because there are so many people that would be left out with narrowing it down to only five.

My real question anyway was would anyone say it's outrageous to put Pernell whitaker in my all time top five.

And could you provide examples of your top five fighters.

Like you say, narrowing it down to only five fighters means personal preference for certain fighter is bound to play a part. As such I don't think it's outregeous to have Whittaker in the top five at all. He's probably not top five in terms of achievement but ability wise he's right up there

I think Whitaker is probably the best fighter of the last 19 years but I wouldn't put him that high. He did achieve a lot by the standards of the last couple of decades, but compared to Robinson or Armstrong or Pep or Greb or Charles or some others he's not very close. But I would rank him above Chavez or RJJ or Hopkins or Mayweather.
