Well for one thing Holmes was in his prime and Norton was 34. But I don't agree, Norton gave away the early rounds, which he had done before, but he won many of the later rounds. I thought Holmes won, as mentioned, but I don't understand the logic that this wasn't a close fight.

What don't you understand?

When rounds are close as many where in this fight, if you believe Holmes work was slightly more effective than Nortons and thus give more of the rounds to Holmes, it can easily go to a 4 point win for Holmes.

You must have seen this before.

I thought Holmes won a lot of rounds clearly,, Norton won a lot less as clearly, while others where close. If you give the close ones to Holmes it becomes a clear win for Holmes. If you give the close ones to Kenny, then it is very close.

It's always possible to score the closest rounds all for one fighter, but I find that to be a very questionable scorecard. Understand?

I have no reason to question his scorecard without seeing a round by round breakdown.

Or yours, for that matter.

I shall put up my ound by round break down later on today guys.

I think Holmes was able to work behind his jab and right well early
on in that fight. And when Norton did stand landing and catch up
with Holmes, Holmes fired back nearly every time Norton kept
the pressure on.

That is just how I saw it, Im sorry.
