Ladies and Gentlemen,.....oh yes and gberry and collins. I enjoy each and every one of your contributions even when some of you are off your various meds.
What I enjoy most about this forum is reading what the truly interested and the truly knowledgeable have to share on this forum about this great sport. I have (and will continue) to be of assist along the way. Count me as one of those who are interested. I read just about every post because to me it's about how the sport is interpreted as much as it is the actual facts of the matter. Collins and granberry agree on probably only one thing... that I am not knowledgeable...at least on the things that they value as important...and I'll plead guilty to their charges just as soon as I figure out what that is.
However with the new ignore feature I'm sort of unsure as to how to proceed. I used to think people didn't want to be bothered with those who truly offended them, but at least in some cases I see I was wrong. Some of those who offend each other seem to be reading each others posts with greater attention than ever before! So this new dynamic brings with it a new transparency as to just what the issues are.
I will be reading! I have not lost my enthusiasm. I will still clean up threads when they break down to just bickering and lock a few that go out of control due to broken and unrespected rules. You the reader have several ways to address issues that are not working out including the ignore and report features as well as PM'ing Mods. I'll try to use greater restraint but I'm sure I'll throw in a wisecrack here and there to comment on the absurd behaviors at the expense of the subject matter. I just can't help it.
I shall attempt to lean decidedly more to reading for pleasure, cleaning for the sake of integrity of the site, and commenting on aspects of the sport rather than reacting to some of those who are into our forum drama more than the sport.
Oh and I can not BAN people, never could. BUT YOU CAN...just use the ignore feature whenever you like!
To Collins....Battered wife syndrome? No one has ever laid a glove on me here! No bruises, no broken bones my defense is impregnable!
We most enjoy life when we can laugh at ourselves.....and I have tried my best to laugh with you and at myself.
And now I will attempt to even kick it up a notch.
PS
I am now accepting any and all verbal hydings on this thread or from PM's and will be round to clean the thread of this and other off topic contributions at a later time. I wish you all an outstanding day.

I thought wisecracks were supposed to be humourous?BoxBuzz wrote:I'll try to use greater restraint but I'm sure I'll throw in a wisecrack here and there to comment on the absurd behaviors at the expense of the subject matter. I just can't help it.
Yours are about as funny as a bad case of the shits after a night on the turps.
