Stacy Harrington and Jordan Shimmel???????
whats up with Stacy Harrington and Jordan shimmel? I havent heard anything about them going pro or anything. I like them both. I see stacy getting into top condition, getting down and being a threat at 178lb. And i see jordan being a threat at 201. i believe the both of them could work with the best at their weights. Has anyone heard from them????

yes I agree 2 good boxers, I not really sure what their going to do but that stacy is very strong and for hem to fight at 175 litght heavy he would do very well, when give his coach a call later today I'll ask. But as for Shimmel I don't know? If they dont go pro soon I'm sure they will be at the tournament here in Ann Arbor August 22-24, We Have Info. at a2fightclub.com

Stacy had considered turning pro and was training for a pro debut that fell apart. He then became disenchanted with the people who had been making promises that seemed to keep falling apart. He then walked away and decided to stay amateur a little longer. Year? Two? Who knows, but since he, like Jordan, is only 19 what's the rush. He told me that he would box at 178 in the upcoming tourneys.
Jordan is not training and just taking some time off right now. He is not planning on turning pro yet. He wants to win the National Golden Gloves. Jordan goes to college and works for a home building/remodeling company.
I don't know about Jordan going to a tournament in August. I kind of doubt it. Stacy might though.

By the way, I agree they are both very good boxers. I know both of them and have been in both of their corners. They have been teammates and roommates too. I'm hoping that I get to take both of them to Salt Lake City next spring for the NGG - Jordan at 201 and Stacy at 178. It would be just like the '05 Nat'l JO tourney. I hope both of them win their championship bouts in '09!!!
