good fight on paper, alot of people rate the other guy. if geale wins he shoukd look to fight some durable gatekeeper types at 160, guys like joval or eastman. that would nicley set up a potential bout with mundine

Joval is getting over the hill, but it might be o.k. He is very skilled. Geale is rated 6 by Boxrec, that should mean his is ready to have a shot at just about anyone. Brute always says when you have a world title you should be prepared to fight anyone. I agree in this case.

A convincing win to Daniel over a Pom/Serb was wasn't busy enough in a tough but untidy fight. One got the impression that the visitor just wanted to see out the 12 rounds and I could only score 2 rounds to him with 2 shared.

But it was another good test for Daniel as he fought a measured fight and did not get suckered in when the visitor dropped his hands backing away into the corners.

Where is Daniels place amongst the best MW's? Boxrec official rankings have hime at 6. Is he truly above the likes of Joval, Sturm and even Castillejo?

Atjenovic is no mug. His only prior loss was to a current EBU champion and he had a long and successful amateur record of over 300 fights. He looked to have the sort of chin that punches slide off, a hard, tough man. Boxrec rated him no.18 in the World going into the fight. This was a good win for Geale.
