shane cameron vs australia

Post by buster007 »

i get the feeling that it will only be a matter of time before he fights haumono, hoppa or de mori. maybe bowie tupou if he doesn't make the grade either.

it would be easy to promote.

it might not happen until some of these guys have lost their shot at stardom but you would expect to see sooner or later.

Kali Meehan wrote an open letter to "Boxingnut" looking for rated opponents. Maybe Cameron's people should contact him. There is a copy on Boxrec.

i think kali meehan has bigger opponents on his agenda.

but if he fails to get his title he would be a good test to see where cameron is going.

Kali needs to look to bigger and better opponents if he wants the chase the big goal. But it would definately be the biggest heavyweight bout in NZ for a long long time, if they had it there. N2shape might want to put that together. Kali should be too good you would think.

I think Kali is all wrong for Cameron.

Cameron should go for the OPBF Haevyweight Title, that would be a good fight...

Camerons people wouldn't touch Kali with a barge pole - the fight has been there for Shane for some time so if they were serious it would have happened by now.

Do you mean over Kali? If so, I have to disagree. Shane is good, but the loss to Ahunaya leaves a doubt, even though shane was badly affected by the cuts. I like shane, I like the way he handled big bob. He has talent, but Kali level skill? I just don't see it yet.

Kali would take Cameron out in the mid rounds if not sooner IMO

Shane did look good in doing everything he needed to to pout Montiy away Saturday night. Montiy look like he just wanted to survive, and wa shappy to just hang his jab out without really throwing anything of any substance.

Even now i think Tua still beats Cameron, he has everything other than the height needed to beat Cameron, a solid chin, excellent power and experience. Friday showe dthe same attributes he is a little taller than Tua but doesnt carry quite the same power. I dont think height is an issue with tua VS Cameron as Shane isant the tallest himself, I have no doubt that Shane would have to go the distance to win on points, with the way he cuts, and his fighting style im not sure he goes 12 rounds with David.

it's getting close to a year since Tuaman has fought. Who knows how he would come to the ring. I know Heavies mature later, but he is 35. Time is slipping for him. No one wants hear 'wasted talent' when people talk about their careers. David needs to get motivated and active.
