I dont know about Duddy, I havnt seen enough of him to make a call. Im still not convinced about Geale as an World Class fighter yet. I think he needs to fight a top 10 fighter and then go after a belt be it WBC WBA IBF WBO

I dont consider the IBO a world title just as i dont consider interim or fighters being handed titles as world champions. To be a world champion you need to beat a champion in my eyes ,unless the champion retires or moves up in weight and then you fight the other top contender to become champion.

boxrec has him at six, he should be ready for anyone. Regardless, some think Duddy is over-rated in the current scene. I've only watched him fight once on telly and he seemed to go o.k. It was a while ago though. I would think that Duddy wouldn't mind the fight, but he seems to be set on making it in the US.

Duddy isn't the most skillfull boxer going around and he is there to be hit. In saying that he seems to have good heart and can bang. If Geale had more power I would be more confident in a victory for him. As it is Duddy won't let up and there is still a question mark over how Geale will handle constant pressure. I would probably tip Geale to win over the distance in a tough one...

Hard to say. Duddy's best win lately was against Eastman, who was coming off a loss.

Eastman has lost 5 of his last 7. 'Has been' comes to mind as a descriptive term. Perhaps 'never was' is better, Sam was the only top quality fighter he beat back when Sam was only just getting going.

I know he is at 6 but how do you get so high when you havnt beaten a top 10 fighter? Dawson and Ajetovic were great victorys for him and will hopefully give him the experience needed to take the next step.

Atjetavic is highly regarded in Europe. Let us not go running the local boy down.

i like duddy over geale because he can bang! he went over to the states and was stunning early but has progressively fought better opposition and had to adapt, different trainer now too,i think? I would love to see some of our guys go over there for a month or so and fight. i like the way geale boxes but duddy for me.

Im not trying to run him down, Ajetovic was a good opponent and now Geale can hopefully get the chance to fight someone right at the top of the middle weight division. Its just suprising you can get to number 6 without facing a top ten opponent.
I just watched a Duddy fight and i think Geale can out box him. Duddy looked to have better power than Geale but was very easy to tag and didnt have the speed or footwork to worry Geale.

Duddy has 17 KOs in 25 fights. Geale has 12 KOs in 19 fights. Percentage wise that is no big difference. Duddy is an inch taller with a longer reach, but most of his victims seem to have little experience or are fighters on the slide like Yori Boy Campos, Anthony Bonsante (who was pretty ordinary in the first Contender series) and Eastman. On form, I think Geale could beat him.
