Re: DON KING PRESENTS PRIZEFIGHTER GAME
I had it for my 360 and thought it was average. No way near as good as fight night. The career modes different but nothing special, you can only fight as heavyweight and can only be known as the kid. I won the world title within 3 days of buying it and after 5 defences that was it career over
After you finish career mode theres really no point in doing it again as its the same stuff. Suppose its ok for a bash with your mates. I would give it 60/100.

I had it and it's now for sale on eBay! It's one of the worst boxing games I've ever played when you consider the platform. It was obviously so bad that their PR company woyldn't let me have a copy pre-release to review it, which is always a bad sign.
At the moment it's only out on 360 with Wii later this year.
Wait for FNR4 next year or Facebreaker this year.

Re: DON KING PRESENTS PRIZEFIGHTER GAME
I want a proper Fight Night alternative because I hate Fight Night. Fight Night does not simulate the sport. It just turns into a haymaker fest that rarely goes to to points and the jab is about as effective as hitting the guy with a pillow cushion... That and I really, REALLY hate analog stick controls. I just don't get why everyone creams themselves over them. If I'm in the ring and I want to throw a hook, I throw a hook. In Fight Night if I want to throw a hook, there's always a possibility that it will end up being and uppercut or something else. Having all the punches mapped to one stick is the wrong idea to me. I also hated another well received EA game called SKATE for it's analog stick controls.
And the other attempts are too arcadey. I just want a proper simulation of the sport in a similar vein to Knockout Kings 2001. Is that too much to ask?

Never had a SNES(you posh twat) but i did enjoy Bazza Maguigs, Shamrock o`Leary and co.....lol that was basic, every fighter looked the same apart from hair colour, shamrock was a ginge if i remember correctly...good game...TV sports boxing was similer but for the amiga, my ex had one and i remember pestering her into buying that game for it...thats when i realised my love for boxing was greater than my love for sex(with her at least)...i soon grew out of that and i was once again visiting the clinic in no-time...all turnd out rosey.
