Well you have managed to make an interesting point without actually realising it - that there is no actual scientific basis for race. YEs there are different identifiable physical characteristics between people of a related genetic line, but there is no specific 'race' gene.

It is more of a cultural definition. I feel closer to white britons than papua new guineans because we share a similar evolutionary and cultural back ground.
In what way have the Papuans physically evolved differently from a white Briton? What about your affinity with Black and Brown Britons? (if you have any of course?

But that of course does not mean that one cannot find other character traits and similarities to individuals with a very different cultural background to ourselves.
Thats what most of us on here think!
And as a pedant I have to point out the following issues with your post:
1. Islam is a religion not a race, so not relevant in the case of Ibragimov.
I mentioned Islam as you hate it so much - it would be ironic to point out that the 'white' fighters
that you have mentioned to validate your argument are also practising muslims.
On the other hand he is a ginger bastard lacking in melanin and would be considered by most to be white.
So what? His background and DNA aren't white European, he maybe of mixed race if we go back far enough but he is of South West Asian descent - Darnell in the big brother house is 'white' but he may not consider himself to be so culturally - same goes for Ibraimgov
2. Oleg Maskaev was born in Kazhakstan but of Russian parentage.
And has the hallmarks of Asiatic DNA - Just look at his face! A lot of Russians - especially those who are from Kazan and all points east have Asian ancestry - Its very common.
3. Chagaev - look at him....he hardly looks like Bruce fvcking Lee....Claiming him as an Asian Mongol is similar to claiming TYson and Ali are white because they had white Irish grandfathers...
Doesn't matter how he looks, Ryan Giggs looks white but has a black father, Ryan Giggs considers himself black. Chaegev's family are Tartars who are descended from Ghengis Khan and you don't get any more Asiatic than that!
You see - the concept of race is both a red herring and scientifically untenable. ANyway I find it odd that I have been so vociferously and systematically attacked when my initial position was that I though it was in bad taste for a certain poster to say how great it was to see fighter of a specific race being levelled out - very, very ironic......
You take great offence that a 'white' fighter has been singled out. Ignorning all the
gravitas behind heavyweight 'white hopes' being fed on set ups that has historical merit. The posters on here - I would say 95% of them being white have scorned Fields so I don't see how it is the posts involved are 'racist'
As far as I can read the posts are using historical yardsticks (and which there are many) to measure Fields uselessness and the way he was brought through to a fight with a faded fringe contender.
