It seems Moore is fully recovered and will defend his title on the Brodie bill, 10th April.
Who do you think SHOULD be the opponent, but who do you believe WILL be the opponent , and why.

In BN today it seems to suggest Ryan Rhodes. I think that would be a straightforward fight for Moore, despite refining his style a little Rhodes still fights like he's peering over a 6 foot fence.

A few years back who would have thought that Ryan Rhodes would be trying to work his way into contention for a British Title shot? After lasting the distance with Otis Grant for a worl title i thought he would only go on to bigger and better things, but not to be. He has has some decent wins on his comeback trail and if it is him against Morre then that is good, i can think of worse opponents.

He's on the Witter card, 16-04-04 Bradford.

I'm sure Rhodes team would take him off that card if he could get a shot at the british title.

I would like to see Delroy Melis vs Jamie Moore - Moore is still learning. I class Melis as a significant scalp worthy of a title challenge, but not one who I give a realistic chance of beating him.

As he's testing out his shoulder perhaps Dixon would be good now, it will give him so much extra confidence to avenge his sole loss.

Darren Rhodes too wouldn't be a bad option, but perhaps a little too dangerous given the Moore has been injured.

Given today's news that Moore is fighting to regain the Commonwealth title, against an African with 6 pro fights behind him, you may now understand why I started the thread.

Moore gives up his title in January and fights for it again within four months! That has to be a first.
Sky-TV are to blame for this. They wanted a title fight for Richard Williams' comeback in January and Moore, reluctantly by all accounts, relinquished. Boxers are being messed around by Sky's constant demand for some sort of title fight to bill.

Yes doesnt seem right, Williams was almost certain to get a rematch with Spanish Calzaghe, pointless taking away Moore Commonwealth
