No. I'll give you a clue. The two central characters are boxers, one on the way up and one on the way down.

As you know, it's a terrific little Huston movie Chesh - as much for the observations about the downtrodden sleazy subculture that existed in parts of America than the actual boxing content. Art Aragon who recently passed away also appears in it. I haven't seen it for quite a few years so might have to get a copy.

Great movie, Stick. I don't think it's available as a commercial DVD, but I have it on VHS somewhere and will transfer to DVD when I locate it. It won't be in the next few days, but I'll PM you when I've done it. :TU:

Never had the notion of taping it off terrestrial t.v. when it would sporadically appear but it seems to be a little lost gem which is surprising given the status of its director
