im gunna say , the best knockout record is pavlik but the best puncher .... hatton :box:

If you put power, technique, accuracy and speed in the mix then I think at HW you are looking at...

For sheer power then Foreman, Shavers, Liston...

From all weight categories you'd have to say that Langford, Fitzsimmons, Wilde, Ketchel, Robinson, Moore and Hearns all really stand out.

A strawweight by today's standards. But I do think that Wilde tends to get overrated simply because he was so small. You know, the way people ranked Ricardo Lopez the best fighter pound-for-pound, even though he was avoiding the best possible competition? Wilde was knocking out men weighing 30 or 40 pounds more than he was, while Sam Langford and Bob Fitzsimmons were knocking out men weighing 50 to 100 pounds heavier than they were.
