Round 8

Hide starts positively trying to put some combinations together at last, but the short stocky Seferi tucked up well.
The Englishman is hitting him cleanly with the jab again.
He is obviously weary of Seferi's power and is not getting involved, trying to win from the outside and looks to be settling for points
77-75 Hide

Hide back on the jab and staying on the outside, Seferi can't get is hooks off how and has resorted to following hide around the ring eating the limp jab
They jab is sharp enough, but there is no power behind it
Hide again 87-84

Well I hope any claims that Hide will beat Macca should be thrown out of thw window. He is still the chinniest fighter in boxing.

Round 10

Thought this was gonna be a great fight after a couple of rounds with both hurt and throwing leather with bad intentions
Seferi is very limited and Herbie is content to try and win without committing himself
The pattern continues with Seferi ambling after Hide, not managing to get close and missing with the odd wild hook
And Herbie just flicks out the jab, not using the right hand and does enough to win the round
Hide 97-93

Round 11
Hide still not confident to step in behind the jab against a limited opponent, who has shown little else but a fast start to the fight
Herbie stepped back well at the end of the round to make Seferi miss, turning him into the corner and connecting with a couple of clean ones
Hide again 107-102

Big left just whistled past Herbie chin agan, but he responds well and is at last sitting down on his shots and repeatedly catches Seferi.
Seferi looks a little wobbly but throwing big hooks back, good action
Herbie is in control though and is landing the shots
Seferi shows a good chin though
Hides round again and the fight 117-111

The German actually looks pretty pleased with himself, but Hide wins 117-111 119-109 117-111, if my German is right!

the last thing a boxer loses is his punch, not in Hide's case

Herbie barely loaded up in the fight, after getting hurt early, he would not trade and relied on the jab and staying out of punching range

Welll it does sound like he was kinda scared to commit, and he did hurt this guy repeatedly (according to Coco).

He smashed Rudiger May.

Maybe looking to get a few rounds in the bank?

Could well be saving himself for Rhino's cricket game too? (The thought of which still causes me to blurt out laughing occasionally whilst at work, maybe i need help......)
