Griffin is coming out strongly but is not landing, the crowd are really getting behind the German
Sturm hasn't done anything this round yet though
Griffin is really sucking it up and having a decent round, Stturm has been lazy this round and lost it, Griffin walks back to the corner now with his arms aloft! But the Germans look confident
Sturm 115-114
Many of the rounds were close and I can see the judges giving it to him wider

Did you get the scores Coco - cheers for the RBR.

Any other fights being shown?

Isn't this Griffin the winner of the DLH "contender" style show.

Looks like he and Mora (maybe Bika) are the only two guys from these types of shows that are world class.

Mora vs Griffin in future?

I thought Sturm won the fight allright, his jab was the crucial weapon and he was landing it cleanly
As it happens looking at the rbr on the US scene, they seen it pretty similar to me, also they scored it 7-5 to Sturm where mine was 6-5-1 the same way.
We mainly differed on the 1st which I scored to Griffin and they did to the German
On this performance I can't see Sturm making a dent on the real world scene, Griffin is no great either

They read out the scores in German, so i'm not sure, think it may have been 116-114 x2 didn't get the other one, but don't hold me to it
Nothing else is on, but I am just checking out my other German channels!

Conway looks very flabby at 72.5 kg, first round just finished, a light spar really.
Conway is a good fighter and should beat this fella easy if he was in shape

Conway down from a glancing shot above the ear in the 3rd of this 8 rounder, he has barely thrown a punch in anger yet, against a limited guy he is a class above

Conway down twice in the seventh, as much from fatigue if anything
The Armenian is strong fit and looks to have a decent dig, but Steve is in no shape

Didn't see it but if Sturm is struggling to beat the likes of Griffin then expect him to continue along the Universum gravy train before he sniffs at a unification anytime soon. It's surely up to him and his management to look for the big boys and get these belts joined up.

It's a similar situation to Erdei. Sturm is a classy boxer with a quality jab but lacks physical strength and his beard his supect. I expect another low grade opponent next anyway.

Sturm has some class but there is something lacking.

He should have done what he did last night - winning clearly - in the FIRST fight with Griffin. He should have beaten Castillejo the first time, but he got stopped and had to win the rematch.

Best Felix can hope for is a unification with Abraham. That would be a great event and a good fight, but Sturm would likely get his bashed up.
