DLH vs Cotto?
DLH vs Cotto?
According to Wikipedia (not the most reliable sources) - if Cotto beats Maragirito.. then he wll fight DLH in December.
Personally, I still think something will happen to Malignaggi (not that sinister) that means Ricky will be available.
Tough fight for DLH, very hard to adopt tactics. Probably one of the few fighters around that the bigger the weight limit, the more it will suit Cotto who is the natually bigger man.

Re: DLH vs Cotto?
Cotto would obliterate him at this stage and would have given Oscar all he could handle in his prime
Dumb fight for Oscar to take imo

It's a very exciting thought seeing DLH v Cotto, even if it's an unreliable source.

Re: DLH vs Cotto?
Interesting to see how the bookmakers see Margarito-Cotto.
It takes a brave man to bet against Margarito.

With his chin I think you're right. We need our resident gambler, Chambers, to give us the odds.Wales wrote:Ive got a sneaky suspicion margarito is going to beat Cotto you know, could be worng.

Cotto by brutal body-led stoppage within 8 is my pick

Re: DLH vs Cotto?
If Torres can deck Cotto so can margo, also, if they were as slow and useless as all that Cintron, who is very well schooled, would've got out of the way. Cotto wont ever have been hit as hard as he will in 2 weeks... great great fight.
Re: DLH vs Cotto?
I think Cotto is too good for Margarito, but we'll see.
Hatton won't fight De La Hoya.

Re: DLH vs Cotto?
Deep down I agree, but I dont think in (his last 6) Quitana, Urkal, mosley, Judah, Gomez.. and... errrm... whoever the other was Cotto has fought a massive puncher or such an aggressor as Margarito. Cotto's great though, and will probably prevail. I'd like to see the odds, worth a couple of quid on the big mexican if they're long(ish).

Re: DLH vs Cotto?
DLH looked poor in his last fight. Cotto would do a number on him.
Cotto is tough as nails and would take Hatton out in less than 5 rounds (if they ever fought)

I can text you the odds from the Sportsbook if you like? I don't understand the US odds too well, though.Wales wrote:Deep down I agree, but I dont think in (his last 6) Quitana, Urkal, mosley, Judah, Gomez.. and... errrm... whoever the other was Cotto has fought a massive puncher or such an aggressor as Margarito. Dooley an L? He's either been on the roids or is going to live in it
Re: DLH vs Cotto?
I didn't say owt but I thought that too. I'm a M and I'm a big hunk of lovin'. Maybe it's for Big Al in exchange for Rolo's.
Re: DLH vs Cotto?
Saying that Dooley is 6ft 3 or soemthing equally as tall. M's might look like crop tops on him
Also, hes a very intelligent organism, sure he'll know his t-shirt size...

Also remember that Margarito beat Sergio Martinez by stoppage.
Margarito beats Cotto by KO.

Blimey almost 20 replies and not one person has given it the classic Boxrec British forum line of "I'm not interested in this fight, he should have fought so and so"
