Ahmed Elomar

Post by toppity »

after his loss (shock??) on the Mundine undercard, he is figthing an uncredentialed opponent on the next Mundine/dib card. He was average at best in his last fight, but his record is not that bad. What is his future?

I don't think he has much of a future to be honest. I haven't seen anything from him that has impressed me or lead me to believe to can mix it up with the big boys. He lacks power and his skills aren't really there either. He has been fighting horrible opposition and still managed to come up with a loss and a couple of draws...

Omongos is a dangerous opponent. He has lost more fights than he has won but of his six wins five have been by KO.

Was it Ahmed Elomar that was locked up in Lebanon? He came off a long break before his last fight.

What's up, sonny? You hold it against a man because he was illegally arrested and tortured by a corrupt government?

Oh well, as you said, you are only a child. You have much to learn about the world.

I didn't read him mentioning anything about that. perhaps I need to put my reading glasses on. Just because he is young he can still like, or dislike, anyone he chooses. This is not a police state yet is it? Youth should be encouraged in this sport.

It read like he wanted Elomar to lose because he had been locked up in Lebanon, which IS a Police State. It seemed immature.
