ratings Query ???

GOOD FRIEND OF MINE TURNED PRO IN 1998.
He had an accident in 2000 that looked like it would end his career.
after 18 months out of the ring he returned as an amature, then 6 months later began fighting as a pro again. my question is :

should his record , before the accident be carried forward and make up part of his current record.

BTW his record before returning to amature had 2 losses.
since returning he is 5-0.

Very interesting question. Pro fights are pro fights. They should all count.
