Jack Doyle "The Gorgeous Gael"

The birth date for Jack Doyle appears to be incorrect by some way. (http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?hu ... &cat=boxer)

It is listed as 1903-08-31 but I suspect it to be 10 years too soon. Jack (born Joe) Doyle was only 18 when he made his professional Debut in London and not 28 as the the record suggests. He was only 19 when the infamous fight with Jackie Peterson was fought and not 29 as the record here suggests.

Also reports show Jack was only a boy when the Irish Free State was established (1922 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_Free_State) and not 19 as a bith date of 1903 would make him.

The last part which makes me sure of this is that obituaries at the time of Doyle's death said he died aged 65 and not 75 as is listed in boxrec.

Am i correct or have I got my information wrong?
