Thanks Collins.
I appreciate these fights you are putting on here.
These fights from the eighties they seem like only yesterday .
They were great times for boxing.

I use TMPGenc DVD Author (free if you look in the right places...) to get the individual fights off the DVD and onto the hard drive as MPEG2 files.
I then use Womble Video Editor (also free if you look in the right places...) to cut them into approx 10 minute chunks for uploading to YouTube.
See how you go. There are tutorials on the net that will help if you google those two products.

Collins...quit impersonating a class act. Oh and thanks for these great fights you have been posting recently including this one!
Re: One for Frank
Thanks Collins, I'll give it a shot.
Re: One for Frank
Collins, been meaning to thank you for putting some of the older British domestic fights up from the 70's and early 80s.
Re: One for Frank
Wow, great stuff! I know this was a very close fight, and it has to be remembered Tony buggered up his right hand, but he still beat the mighty Black Mamba.
Roger Mayweather was a scary guy, believe me.

HUGE win for Tony. Mayweather lost only to Baltazar, Lockridge, Whitaker, Chavez and Pendleton in the entire 1980s.
Frankie, was there any talk of a rematch with Mayweather for Mayweather's WBC light-welterweight title in the late 1980s?

Sorry Bennie, I just seen it, yes, but Roger didn't want to fight Anthony again.bennie wrote:HUGE win for Tony. Mayweather lost only to Baltazar, Lockridge, Whitaker, Chavez and Pendleton in the entire 1980s.

Re: One for Frank
Tony had to make do with Buddy McGirt in a 10-rounder in New York instead. Tony needed to win that, really, to get right back up there. He put the iron-jawed McGirt down, but Buddy on his own manor was tough, tough, tough.
