Oyewale Omotoso..

Post by Auzzie001 »

Has anyone here seen Oyewale Omotoso fight and what are your opinions of him, he looked decent on the mundine undercard when he fought Komsak Sithkrupon.. he danced around too much though, he started like shuffling then slipped over, but that kind of angered him abit which got him a knockout.
And another question, he is fighting tonight, will this be on Fox Sports tonight live???

Although i think its kinda late that he is starting his pro carreer at the age of 27 :-?

Omotoiso did not dance much tonight. He KOed Koswara in 2:36 of round one with a very nice left hook for the full count. :box:

I'm getting old. I fell asleep before the main event. However Forsyth did impress. go speed and skills for a big fella. Impressive looking athlete as well. Wasn't in against much but he should be right to go quickly with the amateur experience he has.

Probably a good thing you fell asleep because the main event was shorter then the national anthem lol,
but Oyewale is pretty good from what ive seen :TU:

Hi Auzzie001, this is not a dig or smart ass comment directed towards you, however a little bit of advice to help you.
When you make a thread or a post you don't have to use LOL as a full stop,or a comma.
I do realise you are 14 and posting here with men and women and i think your energy towards the sport is fantastic.
Keep up the good work.

I thought it was a good KO win. If a big hit ends a fight early it can be as entertaining as two men going the distance.

Wale fought Sam Columbian at knox last friday , and won by unanimous decision. He was awseome , and hit
Sam with big shots throughout the fight. Sam went down twice in round 2 and fought with real courage.
Apparantly Sam has a fractured jaw and eye socket.......! Wale is the real deal and with some luck will be
a world title holder in the near future....just wait and see

What I've seen of Omotoso he looks good. Hopefully we can see more decent fights out of him.

As he was mentioned earlier in the thread, does anyone else think Forsyth should try and go down to cruiserweight. He's pretty light for a HW. I know on our local scene probably not much difference between fighting in the two divisions but if he wants to go beyond our shores I feel his size would limit HW opportunities? Anybody else agree? Thoughts?

Azzaoui probably weighed over the cuiser 90kgs limit to protect his only title - IBF Pan Pac
IMO he shouldn't hold this due to his losses in WBO, WBA & WBC regionals.

But, IBF Pan Pac seems to have its own rules (overriding logic)= Sanction $$$

Lance Gostelow was KOd by Mosquera in WBF world challenge, but still remained IBF regional crap champ

I guess it's easier to retain a sucker than finding another to fight for vacant title

You have to have permanent residency for three years before getting citizenship. You can get permanent residency after 12 months. This can be circumvented by serving six months in the Reserve Forces or three months in the Australian Defence Force.

After that it is a matter of swotting up on Don Bradman, Banjo Paterson etc. for the citizenship test.

Omotoso has a fight against Emanual Augustus in August,Omotoso was scheduled to fight Damien Frias 16-1 from Cuba but obviously fell through.

A very big step for Omotoso but the right one i think :TU: , I don't think this will be televised :witzend:

I do not know if Augustus is a bit over confident, but he is down as having a fight in New Zealand a week after fighting Omatoso. :(
