Ya I had a feeling he would return and wouldn't be out of the ring too long . The WBO still have him ranked at Super-Bantamweight, infact he's ranked ahead of Bernard Dunne by them .

I certainly wouldn't rule out his chances against the crop, on the Brit , European scene anyway.

Just hope he's 100% commited like before. Thats sort of what carries him, his belief and hunger.

As long as he was back to about 3/4's of what he was he would beat Marsh and have a decent chance againt Monroe

13 stone down to 9 stone is a helluva lot of weight to shift! Personally I think it was the right time for him to retire but if he feels that he can still compete at a top level all power to him. He should have a few warm-up bouts and see how he does. If he struggles then maybe it maybe time to call it a day.

You are right, what gave him the edge was his desire and attitude, if that is lost he will be a shot fighter

From what I gather he misses the buzz of fighting and the roar of the crowd. I know he mentioned a comeback a few months ago when the Denton brothers fought at Seaton Carew. The atmosphere was electric at that show and maybe Micky thought "I want a bit more of this"?

not really relevant to thread but the atmosphere for Pickering and then for Molitor was mental.
That was awesome atmosphere.
