Let's not go overboard as a result of Pac's good win against the limited Diaz. Ok, Ricky is on the skids a bit and Manny has been cutting loads of weight for a long time, BUT, Hatton is a big LWW and naturally the far bigger man, Hatton has beaten better LWWs than Manny has LWs, and Pac was lucky to get the nod against JMM.
I reckon the Hatton body attack prevails around round 10.

Hatton stops him, Hatton Is way better than Diaz and Pac coming forward trying to swarm him with fast hands will make It even easier since Ricky won't have to chase him.

I think Hatton is a shadow of his former self. He's still one of the best Light Welterweights in the World, but if someone can land a decent punch I don't think Hatton has the resistance to take it. Pacman's hand speed could work wonders for him in this fight. I think Pacman will have enough power at Light Welterweight, too.

I'd be happy to be wrong though.

Why do people think Hatton is shot? Even if he is a touch past his peak, Pac-man probably is too, and remember Ricky is about the strongest light-welter out there, a man who won titles at welter.
Ultimately the Englishman will be too big and strong and will pound out a wide decision

Size wise compare them all the vital statistics are identicle. Ricky has a thicker natural skeleton, and maybe thicker muscularly in some areas so he will be stronger and the more powerful. Stamina is a close call but Pacquaio slightly

So it boils down to who the better boxer is, Pacquaio will be the faster more compact puncher with the better jab. I'm not really sure but I think Pacquaio can pull this 1 off in a close decision but it all depends how he handles the wait, the fact he weighs 144 in the ring means Hatton won't have a hude size advantage. And I don't think Ricky has shown anything close to being shot, whys he shot because he can't beat Mayweather? (He never could) Because he got rocked by Lazcanno? (Hes been rocked plenty of times in his prime)

Think that Hatton wins this one on points.

I think he is just too big, and I don't think that Pacman is going to have the dig to hurt him.

Hatton is going to be a lot bigger than Pacman come fight night, Pacman will probably weigh in around the limit, maybe 145 tops. Hatton will be 154 like he normally is on fight night.

Hatton's far too big. This is a massive gimme.

Light welter is revolting right now. It's just horrid to watch. When there's a champ who keeps telling the fans what they need, you just know he's not going to make any more good title defences.

I can't wait for Victor Ortiz (who KO'd Carlos Mausa in 1, recently), Lamont Peterson and some other exciting 140-pounders come through. Soon.

you got a point there dude.
manny is taller than hatton by 1 inch. and if they reach the same weight, there will be no advantage about hatton's body size anymore.
