I got up this morning to watch the Fights at 4.00 I fell to sleep during 1 or 2 of the fights as i had a late night watching the Dawson card over here. I thought Klitshko looked good and kept Thompson on the defencive with his jab and straight rights. I liked the look of the Russian fighter? a few fights before the main event but i was seriously tired so i should have recorded it and watched it today.

The commentator was English. He called punches that did not land and did not call punches that did. I only saw the main event. Wlad's tackling style would make him a natural if the Ukraine has a Rugby team.

I went out the night before...might of had a couple of beers...when the alarm went off at 4:30 I think you could say that I wasn't that happy....but when I realised why i was up it was ok. Set myself on the couch. Didn't know wether to cook eggs and bacon, have a strong coffee, grab a beer (as I usually do during fights) or just get comfy on the couch. The later occured. No ad's during the main event. How good is that. I'm not going to complain about the main event. They were alot better than some of the recent so called high ranked heavies I've seen. In the end I reckon Thompson gave it away at about 10 after a game attempt. Didn't have the commentary on, Brits are usually crap at boxing. Wlad does hit hard, and threw quite a few. on the undercard Ustinov is a big unit, but not too talented. the other fights were ok. Krisniqis younger brother looked quick for a LH as well. All in all a bloody brilliant Sunday morning.

it was great to see boxing on free tellie again. not the greatest card or fights ever but no complaints here.thought considering the commentator was doin a one man show thought he was alright.btter than listeinjg to barry michaels toss on about mundine.
as for the fights-not overly impressed with that cruiserweight Banks at all. the HUGE fella(ustinov me thinks)was ok but got tagged a bit.didnt matter in the end as opponent crumbled under his power but no way the winner going to do well at the top(even nowadays)as he has crap defence.
the main event-tiger out of his depth and seemed to lack movement skills .Klit not awe inspiring but better effort han last.at least he threw right hands.Certainly seen worse.

now wonder what the future holds.Reckon getting the german type cards more likely than the american and wonder if 10 will limit future coverage to heavyweight title fights only? anyway a good sunday morning.

It was great that the card was on channel 10 but I was a little surprised to get up at 4am and tune in to find a women's bout as the first fight!
