Someone here has videos on youtube...WhoTerry D wrote:No offence pal but you are the guy who spends hours uploading videos of himself talking in an effeminate voice on Youtube and bragged about trolling the Jean Marc Mormeck-David Haye fight without even watching the fight first. Stick to having swipes at people who don't know what you're about using your google/Boxrec knowledge and leave the thinking to those of us with the capacity for it. You're one of the geeky posters, a la Albamaman, I'm not, bear that in mind also.Big Bad John wrote:No,Terry D wrote:Marvin Hagler. Please, no "you need to see more fights" replies. I've seen plenty. Hagler is the man.
you just need to pay more attention to the fights you've seen. Are you
one of those people who goes through Boxrec on his laptop while
"watching" a fight on TV?
Hagler could box, fight, go orthodox, bring uppercuts under on the inside, box at range, he could jab stiffly as well as using his long reach to whip in powerful shots. A top three middleweight without question in my mind and seeing as his two competitors are Monzon and Robinson, and no one can say with certainty he would not defeat them, unless you want to adopt the Tardis line of argument, I would say he is worth a shout.
There are plenty of names I could throw out there, with arguments to back them up, but Hagler is the name for me as a personal preference. Throw in the steel chin and big heart and you are left with the arguments against him, from complete imbeciles, that he could not move or box.
Thank you.
