can you imagine th humiliation, telling his kids he got stopped by Sven Ottke! Even Tocker Pudwill managed to go the distance with him.

Into the 12th and Ottke has won every rounds probably. Completely outboxing a clueless challenger. No urgency in the Swede's corner either.

He looked pretty good tonight, sprightly for an old man! Looks to have a few good fights in him still, better than I've seen him for awhile.

Biggest surprise of the night: Ottke retired right after the fight.
I thought he'd fight once more.

To answer your question, I think defensively Ottke was brilliant. Krajnc at least tried to push the fight, but he looked confused and outgunned even. Ever since that Russian ko'd him, he's never been the same.

I really wonder how long that retirement will last. He looked to be enjoying himself in there, no troubles at all.
He's gonna be tempted by big bucks for a Beyer fight ( in the studio commentating ) or even Green. The crowds there just love him.

Sauerland would NEVER have Beyer-Ottke ... there's no reason for that. Besides, Beyer is going to get destroyed by either Green or Mikkel Kessler soon.

Well, Tito Mendoza-Syd Vanderpool is an IBF Super Middleweight Eliminator. I'd expect the winner of that fight to fight Mads Larsen in Denmark.

Expect the Mendoza vs Vanderpool winner to face Danilo Haussler. After winning the IBF intl title tonight Haussler will probably get a higher ranking than Larsen. I wonder if Ottke would have retired if Haussler lost tonight.

i might even cheer for Vanderpool if it means the title stays out of germany.
