Make or break fight for Steve Murray

Post by bennie »

Harlow's Steve Murray fights talented Scot Martin Watson in a 10-rounder next Thursday at York Hall (Fight Skool).
Forget Murray's comeback win over a shopworn Jimmy Beech in January, Watson is the real acid test for Murray in terms of how much he has left. Watson is unbeaten in 10 fights, the only blemish being a draw last time out in October when he easily licked Mark Winters in Belfast and was fobbed off with a draw.
This is a good match.

All the best to Stevie - and to Steve Senior.
We've shared many emotions when often Rhodes and Murray were on the same bill.
If Steve has maintained his desire, and prepared correctly, he will prevail.

Yeah, I like Steve Murray. How close was he to the British title that first round against Vanzie!
